Project Context

Merlin Bird ID is a bird identification app by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology with over 1.6 million users that helps you identify birds you see and hear through four fun ways—answer a few simple questions, upload a photo, record a singing bird, or explore birds in a region.

This summer, I conceptualized the redesign of Settings, creating 50+ wireframes to improve the UX of downloading and searching for Bird Packs. Throughout my design process, I utilized data-driven insights in the form of user interviews and Help Center tickets.
